(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 11 – The Lega di Serie in the field for disability projects. President Mauro Balata met the Minister for Disability Alessandra Locatelli in the morning: at the center of the meeting – Lega B reports – “the sharing of the values of sport as a tool for social aggregation and promotion of autonomy, capable more than others of spread the principles of solidarity and inclusion”.
In particular, Minister Locatelli and President Balata shared that “disability should not be understood as a limitation of the person, but as a specificity and peculiarity to be valorised. On this basis, it was decided to develop projects and initiatives with the Serie B clubs that place people with disabilities at the center which will have their peak on the international day of 3 December”. During the meeting Balata also illustrated the FIGC’s Paralympic and Experimental Football Division project which sees Lega B and its clubs involved with the teams registered in the Fourth Category championship.
