Excellent results for Badminton Milazzo at the 5th Misterbianco Spring Tournament. Great participation at Sicilian level with the presence of athletes from other clubs in the central-northern area. Simona Micari comes close to success in the women’s doubles paired with Sabrina Pellitteri (City of Palermo) with a silver medal.
Simona Micari, after her victory in the quarter-finals, surrendered in the semifinals in three sets, winning the bronze medal in the women’s singles.
Same placing also for Elisa Scibilia in the women’s singles after returning after years of stopping competitive activities. Finally, silver medals for Simone Ruvolo and Malik Adikari in the men’s doubles.
Good performances from Luca Napoli and Salvatore Di Salvo who surrendered in the first rounds of singles and doubles.
The next event is the Strait Trophy which will take place in Messina on 20 and 21 April.
