The BadSax tournament in Miavoye is one of the must-sees in the region. This first day of competition puts doubles in the spotlight, mixed doubles and homogeneous doubles. In badminton, mixed doubles constitutes almost a discipline in its own right, where the tactical aspect plays a preponderant role.
The players referee themselves during the matches, good spirit must reign, all this under the supervision of the tournament referee. Even if badminton suffers from competition with padel, the Miavoye club is doing rather well. It was created more than 20 years ago in Dinant, it moved to Miavoye in 2013, when the complex was built. He can count on locomotives, such as Thibaut Dermout, ranked 6, on a scale going from 1, for the best, to 12.
Besides individual tournaments, there are of course interclub tournaments. BadSax has two teams on the podium in Division 2 Hainaut-Namur in mixed.
