Culiacán, Sin.- The Autonomous University of Sinaloa in Culiacan received the best athletes from region three to compete in the Universiade Regional 2024 which has the presence of more than two thousand athletes.
The inauguration took place on the morning of this Wednesday, April 10, from the Polideportivo from UAS Jesus Alfredo Cuen Ojedawhere the representatives of the states of Baja California Sur, Baja California, Sonora y Sinaloa.

The different commissions (food, transfers, lodging, hydration, medical care) and their managers, whom I thank for their determined and valuable collaboration, have been working hard to offer you this attention,” declared the UAS sports director, Gilberto Berrelleza Reyes. .
There are around two thousand athletes who will be competing in the capital of Sinaloa until April 11 with the objective of obtaining the tickets that give the right to participate in the National Universiade that this year will be in Aguascalientes.
The Autonomous University of Sinaloa It will host seven different disciplines such as Tae Kown Do, TKD Poomsae, Fast football, indoor volleyball, baloncesto, archery y judo.
University City will host the activity of the Volleyball of women’s and men’s rooms, football fast, men’s and women’s, for its part, basketball will be developed at the CAR María Espinoza and at the UAS; he Tae Kwon Do in the gym UAS “Raúl González”, while judo and archery at the CARD
The regional universiade of region three will move from Culiacán to Obregón from April 12 to 14, then they will continue with the activity from the 15th to the 17th in Mexicali and to close the competition, the activity will return to Ciudad Obregón from the 18th to the 20th.
