Charles De Ketelaere guided Atalanta past Liverpool (0-3) with an assist. Romelu Lukaku weighed on the defense of opponent AC Milan at AS Roma and also won (0-1). Both Red Devils and their teams secured a good starting position in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

In the second half, the deserved assist for our compatriot finally came. With a good cross, De Ketelaere put Scamacca on his way to the 0-2 against Liverpool. The Italian had already opened the scoring in the first half. In the end, Pasalic put the 0-3 on the scoreboard, which means that Atalanta already seems certain of a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Lukaku also wins
Romelu Lukaku also secured a good starting position with AS Roma for the second leg in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. The striker won 0-1 with Roma on the field against AC Milan. Lukaku was unable to score – it was Mancini who scored the only goal of the match – but our compatriot did play a strong game. In this way he set up the attack from which Mancini’s corner and goal resulted. In addition, he twice saved an AC Milan attempt off the line. Lukaku also proved to be a useful pivot and ensured that his team often retained possession of the ball and was able to advance. In short, he weighed on Milan’s defense, also improved his defensive work and therefore certainly played his part in Roma’s victory.
