For the talented goalkeeper who is barely 19 years old, the key for the Aztec trident to obtain the Olympic quota will be in the synergy of individual and team skills, factors that will play a transcendental role not only for the aforementioned continental competition, but also for the following opportunities to qualify for the great event: the last World Cup in Turkey and via world ranking.

“We must hold firm to our individual and collective strengths. We are going to compete against our own emotions and adversities that arise due to the tournament. If we beat ourselves, we can get a podium in the most important events this year,” he considered.

The winner of gold medals for teams and mixed teams at the San Salvador 2023 Central American Games and the 2022 Pan American Championship of the specialty faces his third year as a national team and second in line as the best archer in the country, a stage in which he has perfected himself at the National Center for the Development of Sports Talents and High Performance (CNAR).

“We had a pretty complicated preparation, I don’t think we have ever been so tired. We gave it 100%, and it was something that the coach noticed and for which he was very happy. We obtained very good scores despite this requirement, also thanks to the CNAR coaching staff that always provides us with the best,” concluded the man from Guanajuato.
