As the New York Times reports, Apple could soon be showing top-class football. According to a report, the tech giant is close to reaching an agreement with FIFA, the world football association, for the broadcasting rights of the new 2025 Club World Cup.
Accordingly, Apple TV+ subscribers could see a total of 63 games in the tournament and seven games for the finalists. An agreement on free-to-air rights is still pending. The final announcement is expected to take place in April.
