Being a superstar doesn’t necessarily make you a respected player, far from it. Especially if you spend time in the infirmary and/or you constantly disappoint in the playoffs… A big name in the league was also attacked by the polemicist Craig Carton.
With 47 victories for 35 defeats, the Lakers finally had a more than decent regular season but it was not enough to go directly to the playoffs. Instead, LeBron James and others will have to go through the Play-In once again where they will have to face the Pelicans, the former team of a certain Anthony Davis.
With more than 24 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks on average, the pivot was still very strong this season but he suffered a little scare during the regular match (against the… Pelicans), leaving his teammates because of back discomfort. It’s a fact, Anthony Davis is a fragile player. Except that the Lakers’ interior has been able to stay healthy this season and that has helped their franchise enormously. Now it remains to be put back in the Play-In against the Pelicans, in order to qualify for the playoffs.
