SCR Cashpoint Altach announced its first summer signing on Tuesday. U19 team player Diego Madritsch is moving from second division Ried to Vorarlberg on a free transfer at the end of the season; he has signed a contract in the country until 2027. The 18-year-old central midfielder has already played eleven games in the Bundesliga and became Ried’s youngest goalscorer in the top league in April 2023 .

“Diego Madritsch is a young and very creative midfielder who we have a lot of confidence in in the future. He has already gained a lot of experience at his young age and we want to offer him the conditions to exploit his full potential,” explained sports director Roland Kirchler.
