Alias “Torta” and “Ernestito” will face the personal precautionary measure of provisional detention and were charged with the crime of aggravated intentional homicide, in an attempted degree.
By virtue of the elements of conviction presented by Prosecutor Evelyn Torres, the guarantee judge Erick González applied the precautionary measure consistent with the recorded fact, due to the risk for the victim, neglect of the process, danger of flight among others.
The investigation carried out by the Homicide Section links alias Torta and Ernestito to an event that occurred on March 26, 2024 in the town of Pedregal, San Joaquín, La Ersa, to the detriment of Anthony Johnny Torres.
Both defendants were arrested through the Shuriken operation carried out by the Homicide Section in different parts of the districts of Panama and San Miguelito.
