Alba Berlin Holds On for Victory Despite Disqualification: A Close Call in Berlin’s Dominance

In a catch-up game in the Basketball Bundesliga, Alba Berlin won its eleventh game in a row. The weakened Berliners won at the Veolia Towers Hamburg in front of 3,400 spectators with 84:76 (40:22). But they almost lost a 20-point lead. Alba remains third in the table.

After taking a clear lead, Alba started having problems. Five minutes before the end the lead had shrunk to two points (68:66). A minute later, Khalifa Koumadje was disqualified – for the third time this season. But Alba was able to counterattack again and kept the narrow lead over time.
