The championship final of the Austrian Football League (AFL) will take place for the first time on July 28th (5 p.m.) in Wr. Neustadt instead. The AFBÖ association announced this on Wednesday.
The Austrian Bowl XXXIX was originally scheduled to take place on July 27th, but on that day the Vienna Vikings will play against the Prague Lions in the European League (ELF) at the same venue. According to AFBÖ general secretary Christoph Seyrl, fans there can expect “an exciting weekend full of football”.
