Achieving Success: Highlights from the Alevín Autonomous Judo Championship

This past Saturday, April 13, the Alevín Autonomous Judo Championship was held at the Pilar Fernández Valderrama sports center in Valladolid. With the participation of the fry, Antonio de Miguel in -38 Kg, Alejandro Chamarro +55 Kg, Tania Martínez in -32 Kg, Jimena Carazo in -40 Kg and Paula Abad in – 48 Kg., all of them from JC San José, along with Daniel Iragorri in -38Kg, Daniel Alcoceba in – 50 Kg, Nasser Ould Cheina in -55 Kg and Alejandra de Pablo in +52 Kg. from JC Golmayo Camaretas.

Both entities obtained very good results. On behalf of the members of Judo Club San José, Antonio de Miguel was proclaimed runner-up in Castilla y León, as was his teammate, Tania Martínez, who achieved another runner-up finish. In turn, Jimena Carazo got the bronze medal and Alejandro Chamarro a creditable 5th place, while Paula Abad reached 7th.

Likewise, the results of Judo Club Golmayo Camaretas were equally good. Nasser Ould Cheina was proclaimed Champion of Castilla y León, Daniel Alcocebase won the bronze, Alejandra de Pablo and Daniel Iragorri with a creditable 5th place, since Daniel came 1st in his league, later losing in the medal dispute.

All of them accompanied and directed by the Coach of both teams, Ramón Aragonés. Five Medals from nine Participants, both entities demonstrating a high level.
