Abraham Nóbrega, Marino forward: “I have suffered a lot, with the first goal I have taken off a big weight”

The celebration of Marino’s goal against Oviedo Vetusta is proof of the importance of Abraham Nóbrega’s first goal with the Gozoniega shirt. The man from Madrid, along with several of his companions, hugged many of the children from the Marinista quarry, aware that his love is key to the fight for salvation. Now, after removing that slab, he hopes to continue adding goals so that those from Luanco can achieve permanence for another year. His next objective is clear: score a goal against Avilés.

–What feelings do you have after scoring your first goal with Marino?

–Above all, what I have noticed most has been happiness. It took a while to get there, but hey, I finally got it. This makes me face the rest of the season with much more confidence and desire.

–After scoring, a little tear fell.

-Yes Yes. During these last few years, many things have happened: a serious injury, not having continuity, coming here and not scoring goals despite playing good games… I have suffered a lot and in the end I was able to win the prize.

–It was like removing a stone, from what he says.

–A pretty heavy weight, really.

–How is your first year in Luanco going?

–Life is great here, the truth is that the quality of life is perfect. It is the first time that I leave home, that I am living alone, and the experience has been very good.

–How do you feel about having to leave your house so soon?

–I am a fairly independent kid, but the absence of your parents is noticeable. This helps you undergo a brutal maturation process, you learn a lot. The family atmosphere that exists in Marino will help in this process.

–How is it looking at a football level?

–When I arrived it was difficult for me to find my best level. As the games have gone by I have looked better, although there have been low moments in the season. This goal boosts my morale a lot, so I can better face what remains.

–He is on loan from Real Madrid. What is it like to work in such an outstanding quarry?

–I have been in it for eight years, I started in fry, and it has been something great. I learned a lot. I am very grateful to the club for the treatment they have had with me, with the injury and everything. Is incredible.

–What injury did you suffer?

–I suffered a cruciate fracture, even when I was very young. I had her in the second year of youth, in one of the most important years to train. Last season I recovered, but I didn’t have many minutes. But we still have time to return to my best level.

–What is the move from Real Madrid to Marino like?

–I am a person who always adapts very well to everything and I consider myself someone who is humble, I don’t need big things. I need a quiet and stable life, little more. For me, this is a very big opportunity and I am trying to make the most of it.

–Is Madrid still in contact with you?

–Here I have Sardin, who works at the club, and he is the one who pays the most attention to me.

–Being a footballer runs in the family. His father, Braulio Nóbrega, defended the colors of Atlético de Madrid. What are family meals like when talking about football?

–Now we don’t live together, so we don’t talk much about football. He is very fond of Atlético de Madrid, in the end it was the team that gave him the opportunity, but we have never had any hesitation about that issue. There’s no point with that.

–Next Sunday they have a derby against Avilés. How do you see the game?

–The team really wants to do well. We know it’s a final, like all of us left. Whether from the start or as a substitute, as I had to contribute the other day, I will give my all for the team and I hope we can get the three points.

–Do you think the Sailor will achieve salvation?

–The team is working well for this, and I think we have deserved much more this season, to be honest. Much more. These games are a new story and that is what we have to do, we are going to score as many points as possible.

–How do you prepare yourself, being so young and on loan, for the fight that awaits you?

–The excitement you have about playing football is what gives you that commitment wherever you are. I only think about giving 100% and that the team does well, because in the end if the team does well, my future will too.

–Can you imagine saving Marino with your goal in the last league game, at the last moment?

–It would be something spectacular, but I hope that this situation does not have to happen and that we are saved much sooner.
