Over the last two weekends, Zurich police have arrested 47 people during raids in bars, clubs and discos in the canton.
Weapons and ammunition were seized. The arrested people, including staff and customers, were located in thirteen premises in the districts of Dietikon, Uster, Winterthur, Buelach and Hinwil.
Most of them will have to answer for violating the law on foreigners, the cantonal police said on Tuesday.
Guns, ammunition, stun guns, truncheons and a baseball bat were seized from several premises in connection with violations of the Arms Act.
The police found violations of the gambling law.
