The 26-year-old center scored in all four games, scoring seven points on five goals and two assists.

Thanks to his contribution, the Bruins got seven points for three wins and an overtime loss.

Another forward Nathan MacKinnon from Colorado became the first star, and goalkeeper Thatcher Demko from Vancouver became the third.

Zacha entered last week with a two-goal performance on the Toronto ice to help lead the way to a 4-1 win.

Then he made his mark as the only one from the team during a 1:2 home defeat in overtime against Edmonton.

He contributed to another triumph against the Maple Leafs with the same result of 4:1 in front of the Boston audience with a recording, then saved the best for last – on Saturday, the Bruins beat Pittsburgh at home 5:1, Zacha scored twice and added an assist on top.

The native of Brno improved his season balance to 43 points from 62 starts for 17 goals and 26 assists.

He is fourth in team scoring. He’s also on pace to match his personal bests from last year, when he played in all 82 regular season games and scored 57 points on 21 shots and 36 assists in his first season with the big club since arriving from New Jersey.

The 28-year-old MacKinnon had a terrific week, posting 10 points on three goals and seven steals in the Avalanche’s three-game win streak.

He scored the same four points in clear wins against Chicago (2+2) and Detroit (1+3), most recently he assisted on both of Colorado’s goals in a hard-fought victory in overtime against Minnesota.

At home in Denver, MacKinnon has already scored in 32 consecutive games, and it was thanks to a great last week that he took the lead in the fight for the Art Ross Trophy for the most productive player of the regular season.

He has 111 points (40+71) from 65 games, the second Nikita Kucherov from Tampa Bay has 107 points, Connnor McDavid from Edmonton, who won the league’s scoring in the previous three seasons, is another four points behind.

Like MacKinnon, Demko also played a significant role in the Canucks’ only wins last week. First, he picked up a 2:1 victory in overtime in Los Angeles, then a 3:1 victory on the ice of Vegas and finally blanked Winnipeg at home (5:0).

He stopped 62 of a total of 64 shots on goal, had an average of 0.81 goals conceded per game and a success rate of 96.9 percent. He thus improved the season statistics to 2.47 and 91.7.

However, Demko will not add any more starts in the near future. TSN reported that the 28-year-old goalkeeper injured his knee in the game against Winnipeg and will be out for two to three weeks.
