Martial arts schools began to confirm their presence in the XXII KIM Open Tournament 2024

Practitioners from Eastern and Western martial arts schools began to confirm their presence for the XXII KIM Open Tournament 2024 “In Time and Form”, the event that has become a benchmark for these disciplines in Mexico City (CDMX).

Publications on the Facebook event page KIM Open Tournament and Associated Martial Arts have begun to mention some of the organizations that will attend on Saturday, April 27, at a university north of CDMX.

These same publications have been highlighted by Shihan Luis Rivas García, member of the organizing committee and director of the Mexican Interdisciplinary Karate (KIM) school, who has welcomed each of the schools and published some of the emblems of the schools that have already been published. They are getting ready for this event that will have various types of competition for competitors from children’s categories to masters.

As reported, for the XXII Open Tournament KIM 2024 there will be special categories for infants, ages 4 and up, including Breaks, Straws and Rally Kids.

Likewise, there will be tests of traditional and contemporary forms, bare hand and with weapons, creative and musical, in addition to a special section for Japanese katas.

Regarding combat competitions, there will be Point and Continuous Fighting, Kickboxing, Full Contact, Mixed Martial Arts and Personal Defense.

For all categories and competitions, women’s and men’s branches will be divided, as well as by grades and age, so that there is equality in experience and weight, for correct qualification.

An important point is that practitioners and schools who wish to be part of the XXII KIM 2024 Open Tournament have until Friday, April 12, to register, since there will be no registration on the day of the event.

It is worth remembering that the XXII Open Tournament KIM 2024 will take place next Saturday, April 17, at a private university located at Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas, number 1150, Colonia Nueva Industrial Vallejo, Gustavo A. Madero, CDMX.
