Wuppertal At the final of the Baseball Winter League 2024, the Wuppertal Stingrays teams were on the podium twice. More than 190 children in 13 teams took part in the Bayer Hall on Rutenbeck.
In the Minors (U10) category, the Stingrays overtook the Marl SlyDogs to take the title. In the majors (UU12), the Wuppertal team secured second place, first place went to the Cologne Cardinals.
For many young players, this tournament was a good opportunity to gain their first gaming experience and demonstrate their skills. At the award ceremony, the La Ola wave swept through the Bayer Hall – also in anticipation of the upcoming outdoor season in the region’s baseball parks.
