The 34-year-old Koudelka started for a good position already in the first round. In it, he jumped 102 meters on the middle bridge and on the fifth place beat, among others, the leader of the World Cup Austrian Stefan Kraft, who was only eighth.
The second round didn’t go so well for Koudelka, and the windy conditions didn’t help him either. He jumped 98 meters and fell to ninth place in the final standings. He thus equaled the season’s best from Willingen, where he returned to the top ten in the World Cup after four years at the beginning of February.
Kobayashi was already in the lead after the first round and a jump of 106 meters. In the second, he added 99 meters and with a lead of nine tenths ahead of Peter Prevec, the three-time winner of the Tour of Four Bridges, who was second ten times in the current year, claimed his second victory of the season.
In the overall rating of the series, Kobayashi is second with 1562 points and loses 221 points to leader Kraft, who eventually took fifth place. Koudelka improved to 30th place.
