Wesley Sneijder’s theory on Ronald Koeman and injured Ajax striker

Wesley Sneijder thinks that Ronald Koeman is not too sad about . In the coming international match, Koeman will not have access to the Ajax striker, who has injured his hamstring.

Sneijder will present a striking theory to Veronica Offside on Monday evening. “I don’t think it suits Koeman that badly. A hamstring injury lasts four to six weeks. Then he will soon be nice and fit,” the record international explains. “I don’t think Koeman is very sad about it. It is a loss for Ajax, but Koeman will soon have a fit striker. The best striker there is.”

Brobbey was injured on Sunday against Sparta Rotterdam (2-2) and had to be substituted. It is known that he had been playing with aches and pains for a long time. Wim Kieft therefore wonders whether Ajax acted correctly. “They might have been able to spare him. The player generally always wants to play, if possible. Now it was about the last few weeks. It started with Fortuna Sittard, which he came on just before the end. Then came the match against Aston Villa. I actually already thought in advance: don’t let him play against Aston Villa, because that will never amount to anything, even if Brobbey participates.”

“Apparently that muscle has failed. Did the medical staff calculate it correctly? You have to figure that out carefully. Now you run the risk that he will be out for six weeks,” says Kieft. Sneijder answers: “If at some point you are bothered by something and you sit on the bench against Fortuna only to come in in the event of an emergency… Then you have to think about whether it is really necessary. I have also sat on the couch before and it was ‘half-half’. If you have to raid, this is what you get. I have experienced that too.”
