Vladimir Putin Re-elected for Third Term: A Look at the Results and Reactions

Never two without three. Vladimir Putin was re-elected for the third time this Sunday, March 17, thanks in particular to a constitutional reform that he himself had put in place. Philippe Caverivière was keen to salute the prowess of the Russian leader, the day after the results.

“Say how lucky he was on that one!”, commented the comedian. “Vladimir Putin, he is strong, he can’t lose… It’s Nadal at Roland Garros! Strictly speaking, he could have lost to his cancer… it’s one of the rare guys in the world where we were a little ‘for’ his cancer”.

The columnist then returned to a fraudulent email sent to the 9,000 gendarmes in the Île-de-France region, in order to test the vigilance of the military in the face of hacker traps. 10% of the police fell into the trap and clicked on the link : “I only see one logical explanation: there are 10% of nonagenarians in the national gendarmerie…”, suggested Philippe Caverivière.

“The email in question promised free places for the Olympics, we understand that some people clicked,” he nevertheless admitted. “Well, then they saw that it was places for women’s disabled badminton so they put the email in the trash, but too late, the computer damage was done.”
