A breath of fresh air for Vitinha. Loaned by OM to Genoa with an option to buy in February until the end of the season, the 23-year-old Portuguese striker scored his first goal in Italy, despite the defeat against Monza in the Championship (3-2) . On a transition, Vitinha found himself in the opposing 30 meters facing three defenders. The attacker waited, before making a hook behind his supporting leg and unleashing a beautiful curling shot at the edge of the area (2-2, 68th). An action which did not allow his team to avoid defeat.
In addition to his goal, Vitinha also saw his playing time increase, having only accumulated around eighty minutes over his first four starts. This time, the Portuguese played the entire second half.
