Even though his team suffered a defeat against the Grizzlies, the Frenchman had exceptional action with San Antonio.
The Spurs lost once again last night, against the Memphis Grizzlies (99-97) on a successful shot at the last second but Victor Wembanyama continues to impress across the Atlantic despite his team’s mediocre season .
In San Antonio, the Frenchman put in a huge performance by compiling 31 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, delivered five assists, made two interceptions and three blocks.
He also performed an exceptional action by first blocking an opponent’s shot, then grabbing the ball under the basket and starting a lightning counterattack. After passing the ball to Vassell who immediately handed it to him, he angrily dunked on an alley-oop that brought the AT&T Center to its feet. Phenomenal!
