Venezuelan Basketball Players Making a Mark in NCAA: The Rise of Andrés Marreno

Throughout the rich history of Venezuelan basketball, many national exponents have been able to shine in the NCAAthe highest university level of USA.

However, among young basketball players there is a group that wants to make a space for themselves in the NCAA. One of those who stood out the most this campaign was guard Andrés Marreno, who in his second season, stood out with his performance at La Salle.

With the University of La Salle he managed to find a space in the rotation. His great effectiveness when shooting triples had a lot to do with it. This shows his high percentage of 39.4% success in long-distance shots (52/132). He joined a select group of Venezuelan players to finish a campaign with more than 39% accuracy in triples.
