Thanks to its two successes against Chassieu (5-3) and Arpajon (6-2), during the last day of the interclubs, the USI Badminton flag team validated its ticket to play in Regional 2 next season . “It’s a great reward for everyone,” rejoices Jean-Guillaume Chabrillat. In line with these good results, two other teams of the club still have a chance to play. The reserve team, in Departmental 1, after its success this Wednesday evening is assured of first place. She will play in the accession play-offs for Regional level 3. Just like team 4, in Departmental 4, also affected by a possible rise.
Subsequently, the association has several meetings planned at the Pierre-de-Coubertin gymnasium. Sunday April 7 will take place the Thermo’Mixte. 60 teams (i.e. 120 players) are announced. The relay will be taken by the Promo’Bad Jeunes on Wednesday April 10, a tournament which allows the youngest to evolve in a less restrictive context than a major official tournament, but not without challenges.
