Upper Austria Derby: Reichraming to Face Linz Judo Center on April 6th

REICHRAMING. The Askö Reichraming will meet the Linz Judo Center in the Upper Austria derby on Saturday, April 6th.

The fight begins at the Ternberg elementary school at 7 p.m. Before that, the school league and B teams from Reichraminger and Linz will meet each other from 4 p.m.

The Ennstal judokas were able to impress again at the last junior tournaments. There were seven gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the UJZ Trophy in the U10 to U18 age groups in Rohrbach. 600 athletes from five nations took part in the Mühlviertel, with Reichraming coming second in the team ranking.

Class victories in Rohrbach: Joel Gassenbauer (U12), Simon Gierer and Christoph Grimm (both U14), Stefan and Isabella Stögmann, Bleona Rama (all U16), Jan Pfandl (U18)

Silver: Thomas and Stefan Stadler (U12 and U14 respectively), Niklas Kepplinger (U14); Bronze: Stefan Stadler (U12) and Julian Neubauer-Swallow (U14)

U21-Europacup in Portugal

Carina Klaus-Sternwieser and Emily Starzer were in action at the U21 European Cup in Anadia and collected points for the junior world rankings. Starzer lost her opening fight in Portugal, in the repechage round she celebrated two victories and made it to 7th place.

Klaus-Sternwieser, who was number one, made it to the semifinals in the class up to 52 kilos. There and in the subsequent bronze fight she suffered a defeat and took 5th place.
