Around May 20, a few days after Didier Deschamps’ revelation of the names of the players selected for the Euro (June 14 – July 14), Thierry Henry will reveal a first list of 18 players and 4 reservists for the Olympics. Three players regardless of age may be part of it, the others must be born after January 1, 2001. The final list of 18 players and 4 reserves – who can compensate for an absence due to injury – must be sent on July 3 to the Olympic body, three weeks before the Bleuets enter the competition, on July 24 in Marseille, against the United States.
