TSV Unterhaching Judoka Kick off District League Season with Strong Performances

On March 20, 204, the new district league season started for the TSV Unterhaching judoka with a home fight in which both Haching teams first had to compete against each other and then against the fighters from TSV Munich Ost. Due to a large number of cancellations, the Judowölfe Unterhaching II were only able to fill one of the three women’s weight classes that day. Team I initially took the lead with a bye for Karin Beer (-70kg). In the up to 81kg class, Team II turned the match around, Finn Schlitzer won against Philipp Viechter, Michi Lazorenke prevailed against Antonios Moschopoulos. Ben Graf (-66kg) increased his score to 3:1 in his first adult encounter against Hendrik Schneider. In the -73kg class, two newcomers met, Matthias Sipple and Anatol Adam both switched to the Unterhachinger teams at the start of the season, this time Matthias Sipple was ahead and shortened the score to 3:2. The second encounter in the -73kg class was won by Suleyman Ahmadi against Dominik Samson for Team II. The +70 women’s class was again vacant for Team II, so that Conny Schubauer was able to collect this point without a fight. In the -57kg weight class, Sophia Pistora increased her lead to 5:3 after just a few seconds with Harai-goshi against Naomi Colonescu, who was able to fight among adults for the first time. Two more points from Tobias Lüdtke (-90kg) and Adrian Baumeister (+90kg) ensured the final score of 7:3 for the Judowölfe II.

The next encounter was Judowölfe I against TSV Ost. Here, too, Karin Beer’s first point was a no-contest for the Judowolves I. The -81kg class went to the opponent again, before Hendrik Schneider (-66kg) was able to score against Leon Costa. He continued one of his opponent’s attack movements, causing him to land on his back with full force – Ippon. Dominik Samson initially took the lead against Josef Olbrich with a waza-ari for a beautiful tomoe-nage (self-falling technique), but subsequently had to accept two scores against him and lost. Matthias Sipple (-73kg) and Conny Schubauer (+70kg) secured the 4:3 lead with confident victories. Naomi Colonescu (-57kg) was not able to prevail in her second fight either, but Sebastian Ruffert and Klaus Aehlig secured the decision for the Judowolfe I, 6:4 in the end.

Team II didn’t want to be left behind, with points from Finn Schlitzer, Willi Lorenz, Hannes Schleibinger, Anatol Adam, Sophia Pistora and Jonas Hocheder, they won a clear 6:3 against TSV Munich Ost.

Both teams will continue on Friday, April 26, 2024, but in different halls.
