59 athletes took part in the event yesterday Regional target shooting championship held in the “Ninetto Muscolo” municipal stadium in Roccella Jonica (Reggio Calabria). The archers, coming from all over the region, competed to win the regional, class and overall title. The first part of the day saw the athletes engaged in preparatory qualifications for the final clashes held during the afternoon.

Among the athletes competing is the multi-titled champion from Palma Rocco Schipilliti, gold medal at the Italian Regions Cup and gold medal at the Italian class championships; Elena Branca, young Italian champion in country shooting; and Enza Petrilli champion at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and triple gold at the Dubai 2022 Paralympic World Championships.
Triumphing as absolute regional champions were: Rocco Schipilliti (Men’s Olympic Arch Overall); Benedict Mary (Women’s Olympic Arch Overall) e Romeo Francis (Men’s Compound Bow Absolutes).
