The Toronto Raptors will have to do without Scottie Barnes for a long time in the fight for the play-in places. The All-Star has already undergone successful surgery on his hand.

Shocking news for the Toronto Raptors! Forward Scottie Barnes required surgery after sustaining a hand injury in last week’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
The All-Star traveled to Los Angeles over the weekend to have the procedure performed. Barnes’ metacarpal bone in his left hand was broken.
It is not yet clear how long the 2021/22 Rookie of the Year will be out. After the game against the Warriors, the Raptors said they would be out “indefinitely.”

This season, Barnes has 19.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.3 blocks in 60 games this season. All of these values are career highs for the fourth pick of the 2021 draft.
