Toronto Blue Jays Set Sights on New Food Sales Record for 2024 Season

The Toronto Blue Jays have very specific goals for their season which begins Thursday and their expectations do not only concern performances on the field.

As reported by the daily “Toronto Sun”, the Ontario organization wants to make the customer experience pleasant at the Rogers Center and it will start with a tasty food offering. However, baseball fans will obviously have the opportunity to enjoy numerous hot dogs thanks to the concessions located inside the stadium and in 2024, a magic number is in the minds of those responsible.

The Jays hope to pass the milestone of 700,000 “Loonie Dogs” sold, which would surpass the total of 693,865 announced last year. With the holding of $1 theme nights on Tuesdays encouraging consumption of this baseball staple, the team seems confident of establishing a new brand, even if a purchase limit of four hot dogs per transaction will be imposed during these special days.

In 2023, the club attracted more than three million spectators to its home matches. Manager John Schneider’s squad will play its inaugural local game on April 8 against the Seattle Mariners. Until then, she will begin the regular schedule by visiting the Tampa Bay Rays, then the Houston Astros and the New York Yankees.
