Top Teams Continue Dominance in March Madness Sweet 16, Hispanic Players Face Tough Eliminations

It is not being a March Madness with big surprises. Most of the favorites are still in contention having reached the Sweet 16. There are only 16 teams left with the option of a university title. The best is yet to come.

The second day of the second round brought us very comfortable victories for Purdue, UConn and Duke, enormous suffering for Marquette and Houston (the Cougars had to play overtime) and the elimination of Baylor.

Among Hispanic players, eliminations of two players who have weight in their teams’ rotation: the Costa Rican Ian Martinez and the dominican Andersson Garcia.
