Prospects for the 2024 NFL Draft had the opportunity to show their skills this Thursday on the first day of activities at the Talent Combine.

Defensive tackles, pass rushers and linebackers took to the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to showcase their speed and agility in the multiple drills of the day, with Florida State’s Braden Fiske shining for his speed.

Braden Fiske led defensive tackles with a time of 4.78 seconds in the 40-yard dash, followed by LSU’s Mekhi Wingo (4.85) and Texas’ Byron Murphy II (4.87), and also dominated the vertical jump and long jump. .

During his collegiate career, Braden Fiske accumulated 191 tackles, 93 of them solo, with 19.5 sacks, 36 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, three pass deflections, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Braden Fiske’s first four years in college were with Western Michigan and last season he played for Florida State, which did not advance to the College Football Playoff despite finishing the regular season with an undefeated record.

Alabama defensive end Dallas Turner was the fastest of the day at his position with a time of 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash, followed by Penn State’s Chop Robinson and Colorado State’s Mohamed Kamara. Dallas Turner also finished led the vertical jump, however, in the long jump Jalyx Hunt of Houston Christian University finished in first place.

North Carolina State linebacker Payton Wilson was the fastest of the day with a time of 4.43 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
