TJ Warren Signs with Minnesota Timberwolves for Remainder of Season

Arriving at the Wolves at the beginning of March, TJ Warren will stay in Minnesota until the end of the season according to insider Shams Charania. The former Pacers player has visibly convinced the Wolves staff.

A first ten-day contract, then a second, and finally a contract until the end of the season with one of the five best NBA teams this year.

TJ Warren couldn’t dream of a better scenario, having been without a team since his departure from the Suns at the end of last season.

Since March 7, 2024, Warren has made seven appearances for the Wolves, averaging 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds (38% shooting) in 14 minutes coming off the bench. With the sores who recently affected Minnesota (notably Karl-Anthony Towns), TJ came to fill a hole and will therefore be part of Chris Finch’s group which will play in the Playoffs in a few weeks.

A great reward for a player who has experienced many injury struggles in his career, and who has achieved several campaigns around 20 points on average.
