Tigers struggle in loss to Würzburg, face pressure in upcoming game against Rostock

In Würzburg, in front of around 3,000 spectators, the Tigers started unfocused with eight ball losses in the first quarter. After trailing by 17:26, the Tigers stayed in touch until the break, but lost the third quarter 13:22.

Former Tübingener Zach Seljaas was Würzburg’s second best thrower with 17 points behind Otis Livingston (22). Jhivvan Jackon (16), Erol Ersek (16), Georgios Kalaitzakis (12) and Kriss Helmanis (10/9 rebounds) each scored double figures for Tübingen. However, Jimmy Boeheim (1 points), Mateo Seric (4) and Timo Lanmüller (0) remained offensively pale.

The Tigers are now under pressure in the home game against Rostock on Friday. The Heidelbergers had previously won the basement duel against Crailsheim with 90:86, which is why Tübingen is now behind them in the table.
