Thunder Player Bismack Biyombo Collapses During NBA Game: Teammates Rush to Aid

In the National Basketball Association (NBA) game, “Thunder” basketball players went to a discussion, when suddenly, in the presence of teammates, Bismack Bijombo, who was not even on the court, lost consciousness. Teammates were thoroughly worried and tried to help the center player who fell to the ground.

Biyombo, who is entering his 13th season in the NBA, had no apparent reason for the fall, causing even more concern among teammates Mike Muscala, Gordon Hayward, Kenrich Williams and others. Later, the basketball player was able to get up on his own and go to the dressing room.

According to Nik Galo, a reporter for the Thunder team, “Trail Blazers” doctors who were nearby did not detect any serious health problems in Bijombo. However, he left the team as a precaution and the Thunder medical staff conducted tests to find out what happened to the 31-year-old basketball veteran. Initial tests do not indicate any serious health problems, but caution in such situations is understandable.

Bijombo joined the “Thunder” team only at the beginning of February, but started the season with the injured Memphis “Grizzlies”. In his 13th season, the NBA center played 34 games (30 in the Memphis team and four in the “Thunder” ranks). Bijombo spent an average of almost 24 minutes on the floor in the ranks of the Western Conference, where he scored 5.2 points, won 6.4 balls, gave 1.7 assists and blocked 1.1 shots. On the other hand, the leading team of the Western Conference averages less than six minutes, in which 0.5 points, one rebound and 0.3 blocks and assists each. The average career statistics of the Congolese basketball player, who once honed his skills in Spain, is close to what he showed at the beginning of the season with the Grizzlies. 5.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. Bijombo played a total of 833 regular season games in the NBA.
