Four days ago we learned about the work of Banksy. In a short time, the place has become a meeting point for tourists who have noticed a detail: a man who lives near the mural. His name is Carlos. And you just have to open the window to see it.
Carlos has as a neighbor one of the most visited murals in his garden. Street artist Banksy chose his wall as the setting for his work. Now, tourists are questioning whether he is the artist.
“When I saw the wall all stained I thought it had been vandals,” says Carlos
Carlos believes that the work was done when he was not at home. “When I saw the wall all stained, I thought it had been some vandals or some kids getting into mischief,” he says. Everything changed when a tourist told him to look at the wall from another perspective. “A girl told me, stay away so you can see what it is like. When I did it, I already had the effect of the mural, the figure of the tree,” adds Carlos.
This work by Banksy can be seen in two ways. One as if it were a simple painting and another, of a leafy tree if you appreciate it from afar. The mural has raised so much curiosity that not even protecting it with fences has prevented tourists from wanting to approach it with cameras. Many of them come with questions and wishes.
