Among the fallen great hopes of French football, Clément Grenier is too often forgotten. However, when he started at OL, the native of Annonay had everything to become a member of the French team in the years that were to follow. Relegated to the bench, the former Rhone headliner saw his status collapse and was loaned to AS Roma during the second part of the 2016-2017 season. The following year, Clément Grenier officially said goodbye to his favorite club and joined En Avant Guingamp in the winter of 2018 after spending six months with the OL reserves. And after six less interesting ones in Brittany, the right-hander stayed there and joined Rennes the following summer. From his 93 matches in three seasons with SRFC, Grenier made a lasting place for himself in the Breton squad despite several physical problems which continued to torment him.

It was then that the former darling of Gerland decided to join Spain and Majorca in March 2022.
