San Roque University Hospitals is once again, for the second consecutive year, the official medical service of The North Face Transgrancanaria. ANDThe extensive health device toured the Island with the participants with the aim of providing fast, safe care and with the best guarantees.:
• Hospitals in Tejeda, Garañon, Ayagaures and South Park.
• Rapid Intervention Vehicles along the entire route.
• A health team of more than 60 people (doctors, nurses, technicians, assistants, ambulance drivers, physiotherapists, translator service at the main goal of Parque Sur…).
• A large fleet of Advanced and Basic Life Support ambulances.
• Support for transfers to the two large HUSR hospitals in Vegueta and Maspalomas
Health care was dealt with in general of falls, simple cures, sprains, nausea, hypothermia and bronchospasms, among others, as well as transfers to hospitals for trauma.
