Good operation of the day: Suns, Mavs, Nuggets
In the biggest shock of the night, the Suns finally defeated the conquering Cavs at home. Two major pieces of information following this match. 1) Everything becomes more complicated when the trio Kevin Durant (37/8/6) / Devin Booker (27/6/7 for his return) / Bradley Beal (25/5/4/3) is also comfortable, without forgetting a Nurkic – Allen duo in tune to serve the dishes. 2) Great operation in the rankings for the Suns, who put a good option on sixth place, synonymous with an escape from a play-in tournament which promises to be hot in the West. A play-in that the Mavs are also trying to avoid (nice victory yesterday against the Bulls despite the end of Luka Doncic’s good series), a play-in that the Nuggets are obviously not considering for a second, they who are rather eyeing in first place in the West thanks to their new victory yesterday against Toronto, with Nikola Jokic in MVP mode (35/17/12/6/2/lol).
Bad operation of the day: Cavs
It’s not a crisis either, but let’s say that a victory could have allowed the Cavs to put a little more pressure on the tires of the Bucks in second place in the East. Deprived of Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, the Cavs still fought like hell, a dusty expression while the Cleveland game is not, notably that of a huge Darius Garland in the first half (25 of his 30 points). Unfortunately on the other hand the Suns were more armed (see above), Cleveland remains third and that’s already not bad.
