The Mutua Madrid Open will organize the ‘FC 24 Virtual Championship powered by Mutua Madrid Open’, a virtual eSports competition that will crown the champion in the national grand final at the Caja Mágica during the last days of the tournament, which will take place on April 22 to May 5, as announced this Tuesday by the organization of the Masters 1000 and WTA 1000.
‘FC 24 Virtual Championship powered by Mutua Madrid Open’, which will be played exclusively on PlayStation 5, will debut on April 12 at the Callao Cinemas with a presentation open to the public in which professional players from ‘ EA SPORTS FC 24’, as well as great content creators and other special guests who will give color to a very special night in which attendees will be able to win numerous prizes, such as a PlayStation 5 console, EA SPORTS FC 24 games or tickets to attend to the Mutua Madrid Open.
Furthermore, coinciding with this presentation, the first in-person test of ‘FC 24 Virtual Championship powered by Mutua Madrid Open’ will take place to open a competition that will have an ‘online’ phase between April 12 and 23, with all the information on access and operation on the website www.madridopenvirtual.com, and will culminate with six in-person qualifiers at the Caja Mágica (April 22, 23, 24, 25, 28 and 29) and a grand national final (May 4) within the framework of the Mutua Madrid Open. The winner, apart from different prizes, will receive 2,500 euros.
