The Knicks win the midday derby over the Nets, 57 points from the strange couple DiVincenzo-McBride

In front of almost 20,000 at Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks won the Big Apple derby with excellent performances from DiVincenzo and McBride, condemning the Brooklyn Nets to their 6th consecutive stop.

The final result was 105-93, the former Villanova player scored 31 points with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while the point guard finished with 26 points (6/12 from three) and 3 assists, playing all 48 minutes.

Hartenstein is now a certainty under the scoreboards (17+9+4 steals and 2 blocks), for Brunson there are 17 points and 8 assists but with a reviewable 7/24 from the field.

For Brooklyn it is yet another defeat of a season to forget, Thomas’ 19 with 6 assists and Bridges’ 18 with 5 assists are not enough.
