The Professional Football League formalized an agreement with the American fast food company this Thursday, March 21. From July 1, “Ligue 1 Uber Eats” will therefore become “Ligue 1 McDonald’s”.

The fast food brand McDonald’s will be the “title partner” of Ligue 1 for the next three seasons, and will succeed Uber Eats, the Professional Football League (LFP) announced this Thursday March 21st. This contract should bring in 30 million euros per year for the League, double the current agreement with Uber Eats, according to a source close to the matter.
“The leading French restaurateur established in more than 1,150 towns, with two million meals served daily, McDonald’s is joining forces with the number one show in France,” declare McDonald’s and the LFP in a press release.
