The De Benedetti Stadium Reopens for City of Piacenza Tournament

The De Benedetti stadium reopens its doors Saturday 23 March at 3pm on the occasion of the twenty-sixth edition of the City of Piacenza Tournament, with the eagerly awaited challenge between the Piacenza Baseball, the Swiss of Lausanne Indians.
The event, organized to remember the Piacenza baseball champion Giovanni De Benedettiwill continue on Sunday 24 March, when Brescia will also come into play.
The program – The Lausanne Indians, currently in fifteenth position in the continental ranking, are a young team that boasts a Swiss Cup, a national title and six French-speaking Switzerland titles.
The clash on Saturday afternoon at 3.00 pm will be a demanding test for Piacenza, who, fresh from profound changes, will face the Swiss while being able to count on the two Reggio reinforcements Freinoil Carrasco e Daniele Torelli (absent last Sunday in Codogno). Still stopped however, but in the recovery phase, Niccolò Loardi who will be the only one absent.
On Sunday 24 March, De Benedetti will then host the match against Brescia who, after relegation from Serie A, will clash with the loser of the day before at 11.00, and then with the winner at 3.30.
All matches will be 7 innings long.
