MADRID, 27 (EUROPA PRESS)

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) agreed this Wednesday to submit to the Sports Administrative Court (TAD) the lawsuit presented by the president of CENAFE, Miguel Galán, against the president of the RFEF Managing Commission, Pedro Rocha, to investigate some alleged irregularities.

“The president of the CSD has agreed to make a reasoned request to the TAD and urge it to, in the exercise of its powers (…), in the event that it finds reasonable evidence of its commission, to initiate the corresponding administrative sanctioning procedures against Mr. Pedro Ángel Rocha Junco”, says the communication of the agreement to which Europa Press had access.

According to the statement, the CSD received “writings that reveal alleged irregularities on the part of Rocha, related to non-compliance with the agreements of the General Assembly.” This Monday, the CSD announced that it had filed a new lawsuit from Galán, after the one he made in January, requesting Roche’s disqualification for having “exceeded his duties.”

Thus, the president of the CSD, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, confirmed the information and decided to make the request to the TAD, which will have the possibility of opening a file against Roca, after indications to hear the complaint.

The opening of a file against Rocha by the TAD or the provisional suspension by the CSD Board of Directors would legally have no impact on the elections for the presidency of the RFEF, and the president of the Management Company could present itself as a candidate, as stated. Rocha himself would have thought.
