The entry is justified in the search for documentation that Madrid judge Delia Rodrigo has repeatedly requested from the Federation and it has not provided, legal sources point out.

Among those detained, as sources from the investigation confirm to this newspaper, is Tomás González Cueto, external legal advisor to the Federation.considered one of the ‘brains of blondeism’ and who continued working in this organization.

The operation launched from the Madrid court provides for entry and registration in 11 homes, as well as the execution of judicial requirements to different public and private entities. The actions are expected to end with seven detainees and five under investigation, according to the sources consulted.

What was the agreement signed between the Junta de Andalucía and RFEF?

The Ministry of Education and Sports of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) signed a collaboration agreement for the celebration of 24 matches of the senior Spanish men’s and women’s teams, as well as the under-21 team, at the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville.

The agreement in force between the 2020/21 to 2023/24 seasons contemplated the holding of two annual matches for each of the three aforementioned teams, provided that each team played a minimum of two matches in Spain throughout the season.

The Ministry of Education and Sports provided a total financing of three million euros (€3,000,000) for the four seasonspaid in a single payment before June 30, 2021.

This agreement represented an important commitment by the Andalusian Government to football and the promotion of physical activity and sport in the region. In addition, it allowed Andalusian fans to enjoy the best players on the national scene in a unique setting such as the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville.
