Teterow Judoka Shine at 20th Hanse Cup

At the weekend, the Teterow judoka got involved in the competition again after a long break from competition.

Three judoka took up the challenge of facing national and international competition at the 20th Hanse Cup in Greifswald.

Bruno Lange was able to secure the silver medal for Teterow at his first major tournament

Anna Härtel started in the U11 age group up to 33 kg. Although she showed good competition performance, in the end it was only enough for 5th place.

Then Bruno Lange started for the Teterow judoka in the U11 up to 38 kg age group. For Bruno it was the first major tournament with such a strong participation. He fought his way into the final, but then made a crucial mistake that ultimately cost him victory. But Bruno was still happy about an excellent second place.

Anton Härtel was able to win all of his fights and won the gold medal

Anton Härtel was the last to take part in the competition in the U13 plus 55 kg age group. Right from the start he left no doubt and skillfully put his opponent on the mat. He also dominated all subsequent fights.

In total it was said “Ippon” (whole point) four times for Anton. At the end of the tournament he deservedly placed himself on the top podium and received the gold medal.
