Terry Tarpey absent for six weeks for Monaco

The French team winger will undergo surgery on his left knee and will be away from the courts for a minimum of six weeks.

While his season on the Rock is not going as planned, French international Terry Tarpey will miss six weeks of competition due to an injury to his left meniscus.

Following a knee injury sustained last week, the Monaco club announced that its winger, with reduced playing time in the Euroleague (six matches played since the start of the season), would have to undergo an operation. It is therefore Monday March 25 that the native of Poissy will undergo this intervention which will keep him away from the courts for a period of six weeks.

An important part of the Monegasque rotation in the championship (24 matches played with 19 minutes of playing time), the absence of Tarpey will be felt. Sasa Obradovic had already criticized Monaco’s schedule by talking about the fatigue of these players, it is not with a new injury that this situation is likely to improve. Less than 4 months before the Olympic Games, this injury could prove detrimental for the man who had a real Swiss army knife role under the orders of Vincent Collet during the last competitions.
