(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 21 – Matteo Arnaldi enters the second round of the ATP 1000 tournament in Miami, Florida. Martina Trevisan and Elisabetta Cocciaretto are immediately out of the WTA draw. Arnaldi (n.38) eliminated the Frenchman Arthur Fils (n.37) 6-3 6-4 and will challenge the Kazakh world no.18 Alexander Bublik tomorrow. Taking to the court with a bandaged leg, Trevisan (n.61) retired in the second set while she was trailing 6-3 3-0 against the Australian Storm Hunter (n.3). Cocciaretto (n.51) was beaten 6-3 6-4 by the Japanese Naomi Osaka. (HANDLE).
