(ANSA-AFP) – LOS ANGELES (USA), MARCH 04 – Chinese tennis player Yuan Yue won her first WTA title by beating her compatriot Xiyu Wang 6-4 7-6 in the final in Austin.
The 25-year-old world No.68 Yuan needed seven match points on the Texan hard court to achieve her best result since reaching the final in Seoul last year. The 22-year-old Wang (n.64) has never won a WTA title. (ANSA-AFP).
